Kindask helps good intentions actually get done. You assign a task — for someone else or for yourself — attach the points or reward it's worth, do it, mark it done, and once it's approved the reward is unlocked. No feeds, no ads, no tracking. It works for families, classrooms, teams, or just you.

A leader creates and reviews tasks and rewards. A follower does the tasks, submits them, and claims rewards. Parents, teachers and coaches are leaders; kids, students and athletes are followers. You can rename the roles under Profile → Terminology.

You pick a primary role at signup, but you can always assign yourself tasks and rewards from your own account — great for personal goals. Full "peer" tasking (assigning tasks to another adult) is on the roadmap.

Yes. Kindask is free during the public beta. Some advanced features (recurring tasks, open tasks with slots, and the Classroom plan) will move to paid plans later, but the core experience will stay free. If you want to help us keep building it, see "Support us" in the menu.

Yes. Children never see ads. Photos attached to tasks are private to the leader and the child who submitted them. We ask only for the minimum info needed for the app to work.

Only linked leaders and the child themselves. Other followers in the same group only see the shared group roster (name, totals) — not private task photos or messages.

Once you're logged in, a Leader creates an invite and shares the link or code with the person they want to connect. When that person opens the invite and joins, they're connected in the role the invite is set for — for example as a Follower in your family, a member of a group, or an Observer. You can connect a whole household, a class, or a team this way.

Approved tasks earn whatever the leader set: points, money, screen time, or a custom unit. Rewards cost the same kinds of "currency". When a follower claims a reward, the app deducts the cost from their balance. Everything shows up on the Ledger page.

The first time you log in, Kindask asks whether you want to start as a Leader or a Follower. Pick the one that fits — you can always be invited into other circles later.

An open task is available to any follower in a group until it's claimed. "Slots" lets several people complete the same task (for example, "empty the dishwasher — 3 times this week"). Open tasks are part of the Pro plan.

Yes. You can assign tasks to yourself, set your own rewards, and use Kindask solo as the gentle push to stop putting things off. Solo tasks still need an explicit "approve" tap when you finish them, so completing something stays a deliberate moment.

When a task is marked done, the right person approves it: for tasks someone assigned to you, the person who assigned it approves; for your own tasks, you approve them yourself. Approval is always a deliberate tap — nothing is auto-approved — so points are only credited once the work is genuinely confirmed.

Groups let a leader manage several followers together — a family, a classroom, or a team. You can assign tasks to the whole group, create open tasks, and see a roster with per‑member stats.

Must-have tasks are the ones that need to get done. Optional tasks are free to choose. You can do optional tasks anytime, but their reward is only credited once your due must-have tasks are finished and approved. There are no negative points — an unearned reward simply waits until your must-haves are done.

Yes. Leaders and their linked followers can exchange short messages about tasks. Messages are private between the two accounts.

A savings goal is a target the follower (or leader for themselves) is working toward — say, "50 EUR for headphones". Progress is shown against the goal, and leaders can post adjustments (bonuses or deductions) with a reason.

Each task is worth points. Points add up and can be turned into rewards that you set together — for example screen time, an outing, or anything that motivates your group. Rewards can have a cost, limited stock, or a cooldown, so you can shape them to fit your family or team.

The best way right now is to use it, share it with a friend, and send us feedback (the "Feedback" button in the menu). If you'd like to chip in a coffee, a "Support us" page is on the way — no pressure, ever.

Yes. When you mark a task done you can add a short comment and, if you like, a photo as proof. Photos are stored privately and are only visible to the authorized people in your circle.

Yes. In Quick list, just type a title and leave the assignee empty — the row is saved as a Draft. Drafts show up in your "By me" tab with an Edit and a Publish button. When you're ready, either publish one at a time or use "Publish all drafts" to send them all at once. Followers only see a task after it's published.

Yes — leaders can Edit any task they created while it's still a draft or assigned (or was rejected). Open the task in the By me tab and press Edit. You can change the title, description, due date, reward, must-have flag, and reassign it to another person or make it Open for everyone. Once a task has been submitted for review or approved, it's locked so the ledger stays honest — reject it first if you need to change it.

An Open for everyone task isn't tied to one person — it sits in the Available tab and any follower can claim it. The first person to accept it becomes the assignee. Use it when it doesn't matter who does the task ("someone please take out the trash") or when you want to reward whoever gets there first.

Open Tasks and, at the top of the Create a task card, switch the toggle from "Single task" to "Quick list" (Liste in German). Set the Defaults header once — assignee, reward, due date, must-have — and each new row inherits them. Tap any chip on a row to override just that row. Leave the assignee empty to save a row as a Draft, or pick "Open for everyone" to let any follower claim it. Press "Create N tasks" once to submit them all. If the assignee is a group, the task fans out to every member automatically.

Open kindask.app in Safari on your iPhone. Tap the Share button (the square with an upward arrow at the bottom of the screen), scroll down, and tap "Add to Home Screen." Confirm the name and tap "Add." Kindask then appears as an icon and opens full-screen like a normal app, with your login remembered. Tip: this must be done in Safari, not another browser.

Voice input lives only in Single task mode. In Quick list, each row is a tight one-line entry — a mic column would push the row off small screens. Dictate longer tasks in Single task mode, or type titles quickly in Quick list.

The "Open for anyone" pill sits next to "Assign to" and is only visible to Leaders on the Pro plan. When it is on, the task is not tied to one follower — it appears in every connected follower's list, and the first one to submit it wins the reward. Turn it off to keep the task assigned to the person you picked.

Open kindask.app in Chrome on your Android phone. Tap the menu (three dots, top right) and choose "Add to Home screen" (or "Install app"), then confirm. Kindask will appear as an icon and open like a normal app.

Yes. Kindask has no ads, no third-party tracking, and no analytics profiling. Your tasks, rewards, and photos are only visible to the authorized people in your circle. Data is stored on servers in the EU. You can read the full details on the Datenschutz (privacy) page.

Yes, in Single task mode. The microphone button next to Task title (and Details) records your voice and turns it into text. Tap once to start recording — allow microphone access when Safari asks — speak, then tap the stop icon. The text is inserted where the cursor is. Works on iPhone Safari, Android Chrome and desktop browsers.

Tap the Feedback button in the app. Choose a type (idea, bug, question, or other), write your message, and optionally add your email so we can reply. During the beta your feedback directly shapes the app.

They land on an invite page tailored to the invite type. If they don't have a Kindask account yet, "Create account" is the primary choice; "I already have an account" is right below. If they type an email that already exists during sign-up, we quietly switch them to the login screen with their email pre-filled — no dead end. After signing in, the invite is redeemed automatically and they're linked to you.

Yes. On the leader dashboard, under "Send an invite", enter the follower's email address and tap "Send email". They'll get a one-time link straight to their inbox. If you prefer to share the link yourself (SMS, chat, etc.), the "Invite a follower" button underneath still creates a link you can share manually.

Kindask has two kinds of invite links, and they do different things: a "follower link" makes the recipient your follower — you assign them tasks and approve their rewards. A "peer link" links you both as independent leaders who can task each other. If you share a peer link by mistake, the recipient becomes their own leader and is not connected to you as a follower. On the leader dashboard, each invite in "Your invite links" now shows a small badge — "follower link" or "peer link" — so you can double-check before sharing. If the wrong person is already signed in when opening a follower link, they can now tap "Sign out and use a different email" on the mismatch screen.

Yes. The bell icon in the header shows in-app notifications. You can also turn on push notifications from your Profile page, so your phone alerts you about new tasks, approvals, and unlocked rewards even when Kindask is closed.

Kindask is still being built and improved, so things may change and small bugs can happen. That's exactly why your feedback matters right now — it helps shape what Kindask becomes.

Kindask hilft dabei, dass aus guten Vorsätzen wirklich Taten werden. Ja. Kindask ist während der öffentlichen Beta kostenlos. Einige erweiterte Funktionen (wiederkehrende Aufgaben, offene Aufgaben mit Plätzen und der Klassenraum-Tarif) werden später in bezahlte Tarife wandern, doch die Grundfunktionen bleiben kostenlos. Wenn du beim Weiterentwickeln helfen möchtest, schau dich im Menü unter „Unterstütze uns" um.

Leader – legt Aufgaben, Belohnungen und verbundene Konten an, verwaltet sie und bestätigt erledigte Aufgaben. Follower – erledigt Aufgaben, reicht Nachweise ein und löst Belohnungen ein. Beobachter – kann den Fortschritt einer Person nur mitverfolgen, ohne zu bestätigen. Admin – betreut die App, den Support und die Inhalte.

Ja. Kinder sehen nie Werbung. Fotos an Aufgaben sind privat zwischen Leader und dem Kind, das sie eingereicht hat. Wir fragen nur die minimal nötigen Angaben ab, damit die App funktioniert.

Nur verknüpfte Leader und das Kind selbst. Andere Follower in derselben Gruppe sehen nur die geteilte Gruppenübersicht (Name, Summen) — keine privaten Aufgaben-Fotos oder Nachrichten.

Sobald du angemeldet bist, erstellt ein Leader eine Einladung und teilt den Link oder Code mit der Person, die verbunden werden soll. Öffnet diese Person die Einladung und tritt bei, ist sie in der vorgesehenen Rolle verbunden – zum Beispiel als Follower in deiner Familie, als Mitglied einer Gruppe oder als Beobachter. So kannst du einen ganzen Haushalt, eine Klasse oder ein Team verbinden.

Freigegebene Aufgaben bringen das, was der Leader festgelegt hat: Punkte, Geld, Bildschirmzeit oder eine individuelle Einheit. Belohnungen kosten die gleiche „Währung". Wenn ein Follower eine Belohnung einlöst, zieht die App die Kosten vom Guthaben ab. Alles erscheint auf der Konto-Seite.

Wenn du dich zum ersten Mal anmeldest, fragt Kindask, ob du als Leader oder als Follower starten möchtest. Wähle, was passt – du kannst später jederzeit in weitere Kreise eingeladen werden.

Eine offene Aufgabe steht allen Followern in einer Gruppe zur Verfügung, bis sie beansprucht wird. „Plätze" erlauben, dass mehrere Personen dieselbe Aufgabe erledigen (z. B. „Spülmaschine ausräumen — 3× diese Woche"). Offene Aufgaben gehören zum Pro-Tarif.

Ja. Du kannst dir selbst Aufgaben geben, eigene Belohnungen festlegen und Kindask allein als sanften Anstoß nutzen, um Dinge nicht länger aufzuschieben. Auch bei Solo-Aufgaben tippst du zum Abschluss bewusst auf „Bestätigen" – so bleibt das Erledigen ein bewusster Moment.

Wenn eine Aufgabe als fertig markiert wird, bestätigt sie die passende Person: Bei Aufgaben, die dir jemand gegeben hat, bestätigt die Person, die sie vergeben hat; deine eigenen Aufgaben bestätigst du selbst. Eine Bestätigung ist immer ein bewusster Tipp – nichts wird automatisch bestätigt –, damit Punkte erst gutgeschrieben werden, wenn die Aufgabe wirklich erledigt ist.

Gruppen erlauben es einem Leader, mehrere Follower gemeinsam zu verwalten — eine Familie, eine Klasse oder ein Team. Du kannst der ganzen Gruppe Aufgaben zuweisen, offene Aufgaben erstellen und eine Übersicht mit Statistiken pro Person sehen.

Pflichtaufgaben sind die Aufgaben, die erledigt werden müssen. Optionale Aufgaben kannst du frei wählen. Du kannst optionale Aufgaben jederzeit machen, aber ihre Belohnung wird erst gutgeschrieben, wenn deine fälligen Pflichtaufgaben erledigt und bestätigt sind. Es gibt keine Minuspunkte – eine noch nicht verdiente Belohnung wartet einfach, bis deine Pflichtaufgaben erledigt sind.

Ja. Leader und ihre verknüpften Follower können kurze Nachrichten zu Aufgaben austauschen. Nachrichten sind privat zwischen den beiden Konten.

Ein Sparziel ist etwas, worauf ein Follower (oder ein Leader für sich selbst) hinspart — zum Beispiel „50 EUR für Kopfhörer". Der Fortschritt wird gegenüber dem Ziel angezeigt, und Leader können Korrekturen (Boni oder Abzüge) mit einem Grund buchen.

Jede Aufgabe ist Punkte wert. Punkte sammeln sich an und lassen sich in Belohnungen eintauschen, die ihr gemeinsam festlegt – zum Beispiel Bildschirmzeit, einen Ausflug oder was auch immer deine Gruppe motiviert. Belohnungen können Kosten, ein begrenztes Kontingent oder eine Wartezeit haben, damit du sie an deine Familie oder dein Team anpassen kannst.

Am hilfreichsten ist es gerade, die App zu nutzen, sie einer Freundin oder einem Freund zu empfehlen und uns Feedback zu schicken (der „Feedback"-Knopf im Menü). Wenn du uns einen Kaffee spendieren möchtest, kommt bald eine „Unterstütze uns"-Seite — ganz ohne Druck.

Öffne kindask.app in Safari auf deinem iPhone. Tippe auf das Teilen-Symbol (das Quadrat mit dem Pfeil nach oben am unteren Bildschirmrand), scrolle nach unten und tippe auf „Zum Home-Bildschirm". Bestätige den Namen und tippe auf „Hinzufügen". Kindask erscheint dann als Symbol und öffnet sich wie eine normale App im Vollbild, dein Login bleibt gespeichert. Tipp: Das funktioniert nur in Safari, nicht in einem anderen Browser.

Spracheingabe gibt es nur im Modus „Einzelaufgabe". In der Schnellliste ist jede Zeile eine kompakte Einzeiler-Eingabe — eine Mikrofonspalte würde die Zeile auf kleinen Bildschirmen sprengen. Diktiere längere Aufgaben im Modus „Einzelaufgabe" oder tippe Titel schnell in der Schnellliste ein.

Der Schalter „Für alle offen" steht direkt neben „Zuweisen an" und ist nur für Leiter im Pro-Tarif sichtbar. Wenn er aktiv ist, wird die Aufgabe nicht einer bestimmten Person zugeordnet — sie erscheint in der Liste aller verbundenen Follower, und die erste Person, die sie einreicht, erhält die Belohnung. Ausschalten, um die Aufgabe der gewählten Person vorzubehalten.

Öffne kindask.app in Chrome auf deinem Android-Handy. Tippe auf das Menü (drei Punkte oben rechts) und wähle „Zum Startbildschirm hinzufügen" (oder „App installieren") und bestätige. Kindask erscheint dann als Symbol und öffnet sich wie eine normale App.

Ja, im Modus „Einzelaufgabe". Die Mikrofontaste neben „Titel" (und „Details") nimmt deine Stimme auf und wandelt sie in Text um. Einmal tippen, um die Aufnahme zu starten — Mikrofonzugriff erlauben, wenn Safari fragt — sprechen, dann auf das Stopp-Symbol tippen. Der Text wird an der Cursorposition eingefügt. Funktioniert auf iPhone Safari, Android Chrome und Desktop-Browsern.

Tippe in der App auf den Feedback-Knopf. Wähle eine Art (Idee, Fehler, Frage oder Sonstiges), schreibe deine Nachricht und gib bei Bedarf deine E-Mail-Adresse an, damit wir dir antworten können. In der Beta-Phase gestaltet dein Feedback die App unmittelbar mit.

Sie landen auf einer passenden Einladungsseite. Wenn sie noch kein Kindask-Konto haben, steht „Konto erstellen" oben; „Ich habe schon ein Konto" ist direkt darunter. Wird bei der Registrierung eine E-Mail eingegeben, die schon existiert, wechseln wir automatisch zum Login-Bildschirm — mit vorausgefüllter E-Mail und ohne Sackgasse. Nach dem Anmelden wird die Einladung automatisch eingelöst und sie sind mit dir verknüpft.

Ja. Auf dem Leader-Dashboard unter „Einladung senden" gibst du die E-Mail-Adresse ein und tippst auf „E-Mail senden". Der Follower erhält einen einmaligen Link direkt per E-Mail. Wenn du den Link lieber selbst teilen willst (SMS, Chat usw.), erstellt der Button „Follower einladen" darunter weiterhin einen Link zum manuellen Teilen.

Kindask hat zwei Arten von Einladungslinks mit unterschiedlicher Wirkung: Ein „Follower-Link" macht die Person zu deinem Follower — du gibst Aufgaben und genehmigst Belohnungen. Ein „Peer-Link" verbindet euch als eigenständige Leader, die sich gegenseitig Aufgaben stellen können. Wenn du versehentlich einen Peer-Link teilst, wird die Person zu ihrem eigenen Leader — nicht zu deinem Follower. Im Leader-Dashboard zeigt jede Einladung in „Deine Einladungslinks" jetzt eine kleine Kennzeichnung — „Follower-Link" oder „Peer-Link" — damit du vor dem Teilen prüfen kannst. Ist die falsche Person angemeldet, wenn sie einen Follower-Link öffnet, kann sie jetzt auf „Abmelden und andere E-Mail nutzen" tippen.

Ja. Das Glocken-Symbol in der Kopfzeile zeigt dir Benachrichtigungen in der App. Du kannst zusätzlich in deinem Profil Push-Benachrichtigungen einschalten, damit dein Handy dich auch bei geschlossener App über neue Aufgaben, Bestätigungen und freigeschaltete Belohnungen informiert.

Kindask wird noch gebaut und verbessert, deshalb kann sich etwas ändern und es können kleine Fehler auftreten. Genau deshalb ist dein Feedback gerade jetzt wichtig – es hilft mit, Kindask zu gestalten.
